The adjustable-in-waist shirt dress is rendered in super-soft cotton voile and hand-printed with the ancient Japanese tie-dye technique called 'Shibori'.

Zoom in closely and you'll see thousands of little perforations which are the result of the manual tie-dye technique which produces a number of different patterns and different colour hues on fabric.

Notice, for example, the slightly darker tones in areas like the back and the cuffs, which are stitching using the slightly darker borders of the fabric in which the tie-dye has been completed.
